Tesla is seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our large-scale EPC project team. What You’ll Do:

Perform general and advanced carpentry tasks with a minimum of 5+ years of verifiable experience as a Journeyman Carpenter (applicants with less experience will be assessed accordingly).

Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; contribute to creating as-built drawings.

Install and properly align door frames and hardware, ensuring all components are secure and functional.

Conduct pre-work task planning and hazard identification to maintain a safe job site.

Work safely at heights up to 80 feet as required.

Lead small construction projects, providing accurate schedule estimates, progress updates, and identifying potential project impacts.

Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, effectively communicating with all levels of management and team members.

Demonstrate proficiency using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

Operate equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts.

Complete job scopes outside of typical carpentry tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset.
What You’ll Bring:

Ability to produce material lists and detailed work plans from drawings or field observations.

Experience in creating accurate as-built drawings for completed work.

Strong proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing door frames and hardware.

Skilled in fitting and adjusting doors, including hinge, lock, and hardware installation.

Leadership capabilities to manage small projects and work independently or collaboratively.

A focus on workplace safety, with a demonstrated understanding of hazard evaluations and mitigation strategies.
