What You’ll Do

Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, skid steers, graders, bulldozers, front-end loaders, manlifts, and company trucks in an industrial plant environment.

Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately read and apply information from work orders, specifications, job orders, blueprints, ISO’s, and other relevant drawings. Recognize blueprint terms and symbols to apply in job tasks.

Tool Handling: Recognize and safely use power tools and hand tools suitable for specific tasks.

Material Handling: Demonstrate knowledge of various materials used in piping systems, applying appropriate handling techniques.

Rigging Practices: Show proficiency in safe rigging practices, including crane signaling and performing inspections.

Equipment Maintenance & Inspections: Perform regular equipment inspections, accurately report findings, and follow both company and manufacturer maintenance guidelines.

Load Charts: Accurately read load charts to ensure safe operation of machinery.

Bore Holes: Bore bolt holes in timber, masonry, or concrete using a power drill.

Machinery Maintenance: Effectively identify and communicate machinery maintenance issues.
What You’ll Need

Experience: Previous experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry is required.

Equipment Knowledge: Ability to operate a wide range of heavy equipment and tools, including forklifts, skid steers, front-end loaders, bulldozers, and manlifts.

Safety Proficiency: Demonstrated understanding of safety protocols for equipment use and material handling.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of blueprint interpretation, load chart reading, and crane signaling.

Maintenance Skills: Ability to identify and report equipment maintenance issues, ensuring proper operation and safety.

Rigging & Crane Operations: Skilled in rigging and crane signaling, with a focus on safety.
