What You’ll Do
-
Champion Safety: Actively prioritize safety for yourself and others, following MSHA and Vulcan standards, and reporting unsafe conditions.

Operate Equipment: Safely operate mobile equipment loaders to load aggregates, feed the plant, and load trucks, ensuring legal load limits. Operate a loader to prep mining sites and assist in material processing.

Monitor Materials: Ensure adequate material feed and inspect stockpiles for compliance with specifications.

Equipment Inspections & Maintenance: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, complete daily equipment reports, and assist in plant maintenance and housekeeping.

Monitor Processes & Adjustments: Observe plant operations, report maintenance needs, and ensure safety at all times.
Skills You’ll Need
-
Experience: 2+ years of experience operating loaders and dozers, preferably in a plant environment.

Knowledge: Solid understanding of equipment capabilities, material specifications, and safety regulations (OSHA/MSHA).

Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, extended hours, and in all weather conditions. Ability to work in loud environments.

Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team and respond to inquiries promptly.
