

The Electrician plays a critical role in providing expert, journeyman-level electrical work primarily within the Commercial Refrigeration and HVAC industry. This position focuses on the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems and components in both new construction and remodeling environments. The Electrician ensures all projects meet design specifications, safety standards, and customer expectations while maintaining high-quality workmanship and service.
Primary Function:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components related to HVAC/R and commercial refrigeration equipment. Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and upgrades to ensure safe and efficient system operations. Collaborate with construction teams to support overall project completion and compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications for electrical installations.

Install and connect electrical systems to HVAC/R equipment, refrigerant line sets, and air distribution components.

Test electrical circuits and components to identify necessary repairs and ensure operational integrity.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools.

Perform regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems and EMS controls.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies.

Accurately complete all documentation related to service calls, maintenance activities, and repairs.

Maintain high levels of customer service and communication, including following check-in/check-out procedures with clients.

Be available for emergency service calls and participate in on-call rotations.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
