Job Responsibilities:

Perform daily material handling activities within the department or assigned area, ensuring workplace safety at all times.

Consolidate and properly store partial containers per floor plans during changeovers.

Store all materials in proper locations, including WIP (Work in Progress) lanes; notify supervisor if space is unavailable.

Execute material and line changes as needed to meet production schedules.
-
Manage and properly store all packaging materials for assigned areas.

Ensure all products are correctly labeled before moving them to the next operation.

Secure and buckle all finished goods pallets before moving them from the end of the line, where applicable.

Maintain safety and emergency access routes at all times.

Take ownership of the plant floor plan and ensure compliance.

Maintain housekeeping and safety standards, including periodic emptying of trash bins.

Proactively make suggestions for continuous improvement.

Lead coordination of material changeovers with supervisors to ensure timely preparation.

Complete pre-shift Forklift/Reach Truck Operator daily checklists.

Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management.
Qualifications:
-
Prior experience operating forklifts and/or reach trucks preferred.

Strong commitment to workplace safety and following proper procedures.

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Team player with excellent communication skills.

Must be flexible to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.
