Primary Function:
The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across the company’s rail network and facilities. This role ensures all electrical components operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards to support continuous rail operations.
Tools and Equipment Used:

Electrical diagnostic tools (multimeters, voltage testers, oscilloscopes)

Hand and power tools (screwdrivers, pliers, drills, saws)

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Control panels, circuit breakers, and transformers

Specialized rail industry electrical equipment
Materials Handled:

Electrical wiring, cables, and conduits

Control systems and electrical panels

Circuit breakers, relays, and transformers

Safety equipment and regulatory compliance materials
Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems critical to rail infrastructure.

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools.

Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and industry electrical standards.

Perform inspections and preventative maintenance to avoid equipment failures.

Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Complete accurate records of maintenance activities and system updates.

Follow all company policies and procedures related to workplace safety and environmental compliance.
