IES Electrical is seeking motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electricians to join our team for projects across Kansas and Nebraska. Primary Function:
Assist journeyman electricians and supervisors with electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks in commercial and industrial environments. Perform duties safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and customer safety policies.
Tools and Equipment Used:

Electrical hand tools and power tools

Tape measures and basic measuring equipment

Construction documents and blueprints
-
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Materials Handled:
-
Electrical wiring, conduits, and cables
-
Electrical panels, outlets, and switches
-
Concrete materials for underground electrical systems
-
Safety equipment and related installation materials
Key Responsibilities:
-
Assist with all phases of electrical installations and maintenance under direct supervision.
-
Operate equipment and assist with concrete and underground electrical work.
-
Follow and adhere to all company and customer safety guidelines and procedures.
-
Read and interpret tape measurements and construction documents.
-
Travel as required to project sites in Kansas and Nebraska.
-
Perform other duties as directed by supervisors to support project completion.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 1 year prior experience as an apprentice electrician preferred.

Must have or be able to obtain a State Electrical Apprentice License upon hire.

Ability to read tape measures and interpret construction documents.

Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check if job responsibilities include operating company vehicles.

Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a commitment to workplace safety.
