Tesla is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project team. What You’ll Do:

Collaborate with the construction team to install power distribution systems, transformers, lighting, temporary construction power, and electrical equipment up to 480 VAC.

Maintain and troubleshoot various electrical components and systems.

Interpret and utilize complex electrical schematics and blueprints to plan, install, and enhance electrical systems.

Consult technical manuals and project electrical drawings to perform and plan work scopes effectively.

Execute a wide variety of electrical tasks and provide timely feedback on project progress.

Exhibit a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professionalism that reflects Tesla’s mission and values.
What You’ll Bring:
-
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a journeyman electrician in industrial or commercial environments.
-
Proficiency in conductor and conduit sizing, and experience with the NEC Code Book.

Experience working with electrical systems from low to high voltage up to 480 VAC (medium voltage experience is a plus).
-
Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, and project documentation.
-
Capable of testing and commissioning electrical work in accordance with Tesla procedures and local building codes.
-
Strong understanding of job site safety procedures and hazard evaluations, especially regarding electrical work.
-
Ability to work safely at heights up to 80 feet.
-
Willingness to travel to other projects as required.
