Key Responsibilities:
-
Operate diesel-powered forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack/unstack materials.
-
Move controls and levers to operate lifting devices for material handling.
-
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including cleaning, fueling, and lubricating.
-
Safely stop or reset equipment when malfunctions occur and report issues immediately.
-
Maintain a clean and safe work area, free from debris.
-
Participate in action planning processes and contribute to operational improvements.
-
Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience.
-
Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform strenuous tasks.
-
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
-
Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
-
Basic knowledge of machinery components and safe operating procedures.
-
Ability to work independently and stay on task to meet production goals.
-
Comfortable working in industrial environments and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
-
Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
-
Capable of standing, walking, climbing, and working at heights over 4 feet while wearing a harness.
-
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.
-
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and around loud equipment.
Safety Commitment:

Follow all company safety regulations and procedures.

Wear required PPE, including hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and reflective gear.

Utilize proper lifting techniques and follow lockout/tagout procedures when necessary.

Report unsafe equipment or conditions immediately.
